10 years of exploring, researching & applying various diets including vegetarian, vegan, raw, and gluten-free (also soy, corn, rice, sugar, and peanut-free), including the nutritional aspects and benefits, now want to help you maximize your nutritional potentials and get the most from your food in healing, health, and flavor! My name is Sami and I am originally from Portland, Oregon in the US (the state above California and below Canada). The Willamette Valley which Portland sits in is a food mecca often heralded by the New York Times as having the best food in the world. Local. Organic. Fresh. The first place outside of Italy to have a Slow Food chapter, this is where the KFCs and Taco Bells are shutting down in favor of real food. It's a Food Cart haven with over 600 at last count, and also the Vegan Capitol of the World with more veg*n establishments per capita than anywhere else. This is where I learned my crafts, from some of the best teachers and certainly the best ingredients.
